The Price Reporter of Americas chemical and polymer markets is the price reporter and pricing specialist covering Platts suite of spot prices, news, and analysis of the chemical and polymer markets across Latin and North America markets.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting on daily physical trading activity to produce prices by gathering information from a range of contacts in the market
Writing daily commentaries explaining the trends driving prices
Creating real-time news stories
Participating in multi-media coverage such as webinars and presentations
Engaging with market participants, while building and managing a database of industry contacts

Requirements & Eligibility

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of role types and personalities, internally and externally.
Self-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skills
Ability to perform well to tight deadlines
Excellent English speaking and writing skills
Culturally and socially sensitive
