S&P Global Energy is seeking a reporter to cover the impact of expanding demand for power in North America, focusing on electrification, data centers and other emerging energy developments.

Key Responsibilities

Report on the implications of rising electricity demand for power markets, utilities, transmission development and resource planning.
Cover electrification trends across transportation, industry, buildings and emerging large-load sectors, including data centers and advanced manufacturing.
Support US and Canada power market coverage.
Deliver differentiated reporting on renewable energy certificates and net zero initiatives.
Support key daily power and energy transition publications.

Requirements & Eligibility

3+ years of professional journalism experience
Strong writing and reporting skills, along with excellent news judgement
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute story ideas
Right to Work Requirements: This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
