Key Responsibilities

Perform enhanced investigations on suspicious client activities and issue Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) to the German FIU when necessary
Detect and describe patterns on investigated accounts to ensure regulatory reports meet the highest standards
Investigate cases escalated by the transaction monitoring team, assess risk, and recommend next steps
Contribute to improving investigation processes and documentation standards as Qonto's German operations scale

Requirements & Eligibility

First experience in AML, Financial Crime, or Compliance, ideally in fintech or banking
Logical mind capable of analyzing complex datasets, spotting errors, and building well-reasoned investigation conclusions
Ability to deliver high-quality work while managing multiple cases in parallel
Native or C1 German proficiency
Fluent English proficiency
