Role Overview

Act as the primary DBA for all Data Protection databases across production, UAT, and development environments, owning database availability, performance, capacity, security, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary DBA for all Data Protection databases across production, UAT, and development environments.
Own database availability, performance, capacity, security, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management.
Serve as final technical escalation for database incidents, outages, and data integrity issues.
Design, build, and maintain enterprise grade SQL Server databases.
Proactively monitor and tune database performance.
Drive automation to reduce manual DBA intervention and operational risk.

Requirements & Eligibility

Design, build, and maintain enterprise grade SQL Server databases (on premise and cloud, including Azure SQL Managed Instance).
Proactively monitor and tune database performance (queries, indexes, memory, IO).
Develop and govern complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
Own database level security controls, including access control models, service account governance, and encryption.
