Mastercard Foundry R&D is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is AI-native by default. This role is for an engineer who uses AI in every aspect of daily work— coding, design, planning, reviews, and ideation.

Key Responsibilities
- Work AI-first across the full SDLC: coding, design, planning, reviews, and innovation
- Design and build Agentic AI systems (multi-agent workflows, tool-using agents, orchestration)
- Apply and evolve emerging standards such as AGENTS.md, MCP, and SKILLS
- Evaluate and select AI models with clear understanding of trade-offs (cost, latency, reliability, capability)
- Build scalable, production-ready software and integrations
- Act as an AI Developer Advocate: Deliver demos, thought leadership, and workshops, Present to engineering leadership and C-suite audiences
- Stay current with AI market trends, frameworks, and emerging technologies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Strong understanding of MCP, AGENTS.md, SKILLS, tool-calling patterns
- Experience with modern AI tooling such as GitHub Copilot, Claude (UI, CLI, Claude Code), OpenAI / Codex-style tooling
- Expert experience with RESTful APIs, Web standards and related security principles
- Java (JDK 17+ / Spring Boot), Python, Shell scripting
- Strong experience with UI frameworks such React (ideally Next.js), Angular etc.
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, Prisma
