Role Overview

A Field Service Engineer for Leica Biosystems is responsible for visiting customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and installation of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out on site installation and maintenance of various Histopathology and ancillary equipment
Deliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submission of Salesforce reports, Expenses, Spares Stock management and other service documentation
Work closely with Field Support Team to ensure industry leading professional after sales service

Requirements & Eligibility

Educated in a Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Biomedical qualification subject or job-related experience
Demonstrate technical ability in mechanical strip down of assemblies
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate with CRM tools such as SFDC/ Field Service
Ability to travel up to 80% of time including overnight stays
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift and move up to 20kg safely
