Role Overview

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to take responsibility for payroll accounting, act as a competent point of contact for employees, and contribute ideas to the further development of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities

Create payroll and salary statements for a defined group of employees
Maintain and manage personnel master data from entry to exit
Record variable salary components and control time management
Ensure correct processing and posting of all billing-relevant data
Process salary adjustments, salary conversions, and benefits in kind
Create certificates, statistics, and evaluations for authorities, social security providers, and internal stakeholders
Handle correspondence with authorities and health insurance companies
Support monthly financial statements and create evaluations for accounting and controlling

Requirements & Eligibility

Successfully completed commercial training
Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
Very good knowledge of wage tax, social security, and collective bargaining law
Knowledge of travel expense law is an advantage
Confident handling of common HR and payroll systems, ideally Paisy
Structured and careful working method as well as high service orientation
Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with various contacts
Good written and spoken German and English skills
