Role Overview

Polytechnic Internship in Quality Control focusing on Chemistry & Biochemistry to assist in day-to-day laboratory operations, perform analysis of QC operations testing, and support equipment/software/method validation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in day-to-day operations of the laboratory
Perform tasks as assigned by Quality Control (QC) Lab manager and/or lab supervisors
Assist in 5S/housekeeping for the laboratory
Perform analysis of QC operations testing for utilities, raw materials, manufacturing processes and products
Revise SOP for corrective actions and improvements
Execute and support equipment/software/method validation
Enforce all laboratory policies and practices, ensuring in-use procedures are current and compliant
Maintain all safety and security policies and practices

Requirements & Eligibility

Current student enrolled in Diploma from an accredited local polytechnic, preferably in Chemistry and Biochemistry or equivalent discipline
Must be enrolled at a SG Polytechnic for the duration of the internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
Written and spoken fluency in English
Good laboratory knowledge and hands-on experience in chemistry testing
