The Senior Controls Engineer performs advanced system maintenance and support, leads complex projects using internal and external resources, and assists with development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Apply expert-level knowledge of DDC systems, PLCs, DCS platforms, and SCADA/BMS architectures to rapidly comprehend and troubleshoot new and existing systems
Consistently solves complex, cross-functional issues requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve
Directs internal and external project team members such as General Contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
Develops and executes projects, reviews budget and scope, and calculates savings pertaining to control system replacement projects
Participates in review of and contributes to development of policy and procedure documents

Requirements & Eligibility

Demonstrated experience in control system design, operations, maintenance, and project planning, typically 7+ years
Expert knowledge of DDC systems, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA/BMS platforms including debugging, programming, and advanced diagnostics
Experience in mission-critical environments (data centers, power generation, oil & gas, or equivalent) preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience; equivalent trade certification considered
