Data Center Expense Associate at Equinix

Creates Purchase Requisitions for the country/region expenses within a limited scope

Monitors purchase order quality and provides KPI reporting in order to improve process

Works with requestors to make sure POs receipted correctly and timely

Updates commitment values vs. POs and assesses unmade commitments vs. budget with Ops Finance/General Ledger

Ensures compliance of Purchase Requests (5 W’s), contracts, legal approvals, accounting codes and competitive bids

Contacts vendor for invoices where necessary

Solves billing/invoice problems related to the country/region expenses

Responsible for running and providing purchase order commitment reporting to Data Center teams
