Role Overview

The Critical Facilities Engineer III supports the operation, maintenance, and reliability of mission-critical data center infrastructure, performing preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment to support reliable operations
Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and respond to alarms by investigating issues and supporting resolution efforts
Coordinate with vendors and service providers performing maintenance activities within the data center
Prepare and maintain site documentation, permits, logs, and records, including Maintenance Operation Protocols (MOPs)
Respond to site incidents, equipment failures, and operational issues in accordance with established procedures

Requirements & Eligibility

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Typically 1–3 years of experience in critical facilities, facilities operations, data center operations, industrial facilities, building operations, or a related technical environment
Understanding of electrical, mechanical, cooling, or building systems
Ability to work non-standard hours, including shift-based schedules, weekends, night shifts, and public holidays
