Performs mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and major maintenance on compressor units and processing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintains a safe operating environment including the utilization of Stop Work Authority; follows all EQT policies and procedures

Performs troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of various natural gas process and compression equipment

Performs zero-hour overhauls of various compression equipment

Records and analyzes clearance, readings, pressures, temperatures, volumes, hours etc. to optimize maintenance forecasting

Successfully completes assignments as directed and within established timeframes

Requirements & Eligibility

At least 3 year of related work experience in the natural gas industry; pipeline, storage, and facility operations
Caterpillar OEM engine maintenance course certificate
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Products
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and research skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use various measurement tooling such as micrometers, depth gauges and calipers
Ability to identify work priorities and function with very little supervision at times
Must be a team player, self-motivated with high level of energy and initiative
