Role Overview

We are looking for a software developer who can develop and manage our backend and frontend microservices, choosing programming languages as a tool to solve problems.

About Atoa

Atoa is a new way for UK merchants to accept payments in-store and online, built on the UK government's open banking network allowing consumers to pay merchants via a fast and secure instant bank transfer.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in product/sprint planning meetings
Participate in technical solutions with your team or tech lead
Estimate and provide a due date for the requirement
Ensure zero bugs are identified during QA
Attend stand-ups
Provide ideas and fine-tune the existing product
Fix bugs as priority and ensure they never occur again
Analyse server logs and ensure zero downtime

Requirements & Eligibility

Ability to communicate effectively and precisely
Very good problem-solving and logical thinking skills
Nice to have a GitHub and StackOverflow profile, prior achievements
Good to have a deep understanding of any frontend technology and a live coding challenge
Knowledge of at least one cloud provider
Knowledge of CI/CD and unit testing frameworks
Knowledge of rest API different types of authentication
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL
