Role Overview

Utility Grade 17 must be able to perform any of the following functions: Main position is Slitting Line Operator, with flexibility to perform other positions as needed Operator, Auto Press, Punch Press, Annealing Lead and Crane operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the slitting line as main position
Perform other positions as needed including Auto Press, Punch Press, Annealing Lead, and Crane operations
Conduct flatness checks three times per coil using back-to-back method
Complete required documentation including Non-Con Red Tags for defective material

Requirements & Eligibility

Understand and follow all ABB safety policies, safety training, and hazard communication requirements
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
Possess dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment
Ability to perform quality inspections including visually inspecting parts
Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions; read, write, and use a calculator
Maintain regular work attendance including arriving on time and remaining at work until end of scheduled workday
