Internship

Role Overview

Developer Interfaces builds the tools developers and AI agents use to work with 1Password from code. We own the 1Password CLI and we are building out the SDKs and the public developer API experience.

About 1password

At 1Password, we are building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future. Our mission is to unleash employee productivity without compromising security by ensuring every identity is authentic, every application sign-in is secure, and every device is trusted.

Key Responsibilities

Ship features and fixes in the 1Password CLI, written in Go and Rust, that developers use every day in terminals, scripts and CI pipelines.
Measure and improve CLI and SDK performance with benchmarks and usage data.
Write a short design doc before you build, get feedback from senior engineers, then carry the work through code review, testing and release.
Learn how a security company builds developer tools, from authentication flows like OAuth to handling secrets safely.
Use AI coding tools with judgment, review and verify what they produce, and own every line you submit.
